Bromley Golf Course, Kent

General

Development of the Bishop Justus School in Bromley, Kent impacted on the adjoining municipal golf course (Bromley Golf Course). STRI Architectural Services were originally engaged to carry out a feasibility study to provide revised layout options for the golf course, incorporating the adjoining recreational ground, and outline construction requirements and estimated costs.

In addition to developing new golf holes the practice ground was upgraded and fencing installed around the entire golf course to provide greater security.

Intensive drainage involved appropriate attenuation of surface flows through creation of water features as an integral part of the design and strategy of new holes.
